My muffler is about 2 inches longer than my grab bar and i dont feeling like messing up my muffler if i land on the back. So i was wondering if anybody could tell me how to make an extension, or make a new one and if u have pictures that would help me to. Thanks

You could always just get a 6-pack rack.

the old 300ex with an armadillo six pack rack. it bolts right on where the old one was.

The 6 pack rack will protect the pipe. The only bad thing about them is that you can't stand the quad up for cleaning/ repairs.
Here's mine.

get tubing that is slighty larger than the normal 300ex grab bar pipe. cut it and extened it. weld it. paint it. mount.

Do you only have the slip on? If you do think about getting a head pipe. When i put my head pipe on my 300ex it pulled my exhaust up 2 inches. It can save your muffler and give you a few more hp.

I shortened my Sparks X-4 by 2" so it would have clearance. Pretty simple job really.
