This will be my only OMA race this year. Do I have to join the association? Thanks Josh

Posted by: bansheexcracer2

I dont think bill makes you become a member if you run only 1 race. Other wise it is $35 for the membership I think.

Posted by: RobZ_450R

Nope. Bill just has you pay $10 to race one race plus $40 entry fee ($75 for pro). Gate fees are $10 for one day.

Glad to see you coming.

Hey Josh how did the classes compare to MO or IA? I tried to talk my Dad into swinging up there on the way home from Bull Shoals lake but he didnt want to leave early.

I've never raced IA but I think they were about the same. There was a lot of Pros, I bet Duane was happy about that

Posted by: geogeorge

It was a great track. More like a GNCC then a Mo race. Open and fast. I took first in the C class. I guess I will find out what a Iowa is like on sunday.

Johnny you going to be at the Iowa race?

Posted by: Johnny & Monica

We're going to Decatur but none of them are racing. Trying to sell the Kaseas to get Taylor a 300ex, she turns 13 on Sept. 10th so she wants to move up to the junior class. I will have my camera and Johnny is supposed to walk with me and get some video. Are you going to try and make it? Congrads to you too on your first!

Posted by: geogeorge

Yes I'm going to try and make it. I think I will be racing one of the morning classes. Long drive home on sunday so I can't stay all that late.

Hope to see you all there.
Geoff

Thanks guys, I am planning on making it up to Leon. I stripped one of my rear hubs so I need to replace that and I cut a front tire. If all goes well this week I will see Ya there. Josh

Similar to the farm but with smaller jumps on the MX track and even more wide open sections of field. There were a few tight sections that were similar to "spud cut" from the Hillbilly series if that makes any sense. It was a fun track- you would have liked it Greg. Later Josh

Yeah it was a fun race. That wide open winding section was fun on the banshee, 6th gear pinned never let off the whole time.
