hi there guys, are there any air intake mods that can be done to the 400ex.

The most common intake mods are the use of an aftermarket airfilter and venting or removing the airbox lid. I prefer to remove the choke from the stock carb as well.

Do a search...there's tons of info on the site about airbox modifications.

what were to happen if i ran intake tubing from my air box all the way to the front of my bike? would that increase some type of airflow? any concernes i should be aware of? with a filter of course.

Ram air works, but it's easier said than done.
