My freind has a 01 raptor that runs good but is experiencing something like clutch slip the motor runs faster than the actual speed a we checked the clutch and thats fine a freind said sometime about 01 raptors having problems with a pin a something breaking any knowledge will be appreciated

what kind of oil is he using? I have an 01 raptor aswell and i never had any problems with the clutch slipping as long as i used yamalube 20 W 40. i used synthetic oil once and my clutch would slip sometimes because u aren't supposed to use synthetic with a wet clutch. as for the problem with the pin i have never heard of it, but u never know. I would suggest getting a heavy duty clutch kit to protect the transmission better, that's what i have done.
