Yea there rivets and you might not want to drill them out if you don't have a pop rivet gun to put them back in if you were going to paint them or chrome them. I think I am going to take mine out and paint them either red or black and put them back on.

i know there not screws. i couldnt think of rivets.
if they were screw i think i would know just to "srew" them out.
my friend tires a small drillbit, he put it in, it was a tiny bit bigger then the rivet hole, he pressed down and they just popped off,
and he didnt drill through the plastic.
will that work?

poor warm water around the rivet
then freeze it real fast
the water will expand and you rivit will pop out

Never thought a that one pretty good ...magiver. But i think the best thing for this fellow to do would be stick his winky in the little hole that looks like a screw, open a national geographic magazine wait five seconds and take one step back and presto the rivet will pop right off then maybe try the water thing on youre winky lol
