It just won't start

I put a new rod in my 04 450r. It is timed right at the counter balancer and at the camshaft. It is getting fuel but it just will not start. It won't back fire or any thing does any body know what to do.

time to do a spark test, check all switches, and try a new spark plug.

It's got spark. I think it may be the timing chain. It is stiff and a man told me it may be making it jump time.
