what would be better for a mix of some mild freestyle and MX; a stiffer preload, or softer preload. i couldnt really make up mind while i was adjusting my shocks as both had their pros and cons. also, about how much free sag should i have for a good all around balance? i tried runnin with zero free sag, which probably wouldnt be good for whoops, but it seemed to soak up the larger landings pretty well. what are you're guy's opinions?

btw, i have an 05TLD pred with Fox Podium IX, currently runnin 5clicks out from all the way in, and left the rebound stock.

in between stiff and soft, but a little more to the stiff side, it should feel good in whoops, and should still soak up the big jumps
