hey guys i got my 05 z400 about 2 weeks ago and changed the coolant to Maxima Coolanol that is magnesium friendly....will i still have to change the clutch cover or should i be fine?

well there is a recall for the magnesium clutch covers..so if you take it to your dealer it should be free for a new cover and coolant change. where in nj are you? im in nj and am looking for people to ride with.

Get the recall done. You'd be stupid not to its free. I asked the dealer to look at mine after they switched it out and im glad its fixed. The damn the was almost corroded clean thru
