First time rode, he took it out....and it started running funny...hes like oh let me check the gas he took off the gas cap and the gas was boiling!!! whats goin on?? He needs to know quick we are goin on a big ride soon....i told him to take it straight back to yamaha but he wants to see if its real simple

Well if you was ridin on the sun then i can see why it was boiling but are you sure it wasn't just aor bubbles that were comeing from the tube that goes into the carb?

I doubt it was boiling unless you touched it adn it was hot. i think it was Air bubbles escaping.

I don't know what could cause this but i would tell him to take it right back

Check if the gas vent tube isnt clogged.

I use to have the same problem with my gas bubbling up. I was just taking a bath and all the sudden gas started bubbling up and i'm like wtf.

LOL no it was brand new nothing was clogged...and it wasnt hot outside about 75

My guess would be that mabye it was sucking air in the lines or something. I'd think that if it were hot enough to be boiling, that it'd reach the flash point and ignite. But I'm just taking a stab in the dark, I'd take it beck to Yamaha and let them fix it under warranty
