ok so i put my sandstars on today becaue i have a trip down to the dunes tomorrow. i put the cone shaped end of the lug nut against the rim. do u guys think it'll be ok?

If the hole isnt tapered turn the lugnut around.

thats the problem the socket won't fit aroun the lug nut when u flip it around. do u think it'll be fine for the time being?

Have fun getting that rim off!

You'll have to beat your guts out to get it to come off......speaking from experience of course!

yep! on a regular aluminum rim when the tapered side of the lug nut is put on it pushes the aluminum on the wheel inward and makes it hard as hell to get off. i suggest a block of wood and a nice big hammer

all i got to say is it is gonna be a pain in the *** to get those rims off. we did the same thing to my cousins z400 and it was not fun getting the rims off. pretty much u will need the jaws of life.GOOD LUCK.
