I have a suzuki 250 4x4 with high, low and super low. I think it is between a 1986 and a 1996. How do you decode the serial number on a suzuki to tell the year?
thanks

You may try a google search on the numbers. If you can find a model # an do a search that would be better.
Ok tell me this. I know on all cars the tenth diget is the year. It could be a letter or a number depending on the year. If it is the same on a quad it goes like this.
a=80
b 81
c 82
d 83
e 84
f 85
g 86
h 87
j 88
k 89
L 90
m 91
n 92
p 93
r 94
s 95
t 96
They skip some letters because the look like numbers. Don't ask me why "s" stayed in there???? any way this may help pin the year if quads and bikes are the same as cars.
Who knows

On my 400, it has a sticker on the front of the frame by the bumper that says the year and such. Maybe its the same with a zuki?

On my warrior you can look at the rims and the engine to see what year it is
