ok so i have my cylander on the way back from the machine shop hopefully tomarrow and i havent riden on my ex for 2 weeks so iam jonsin to ride it! i ve been riding my dads 89 xt350 (enduro birtbike wit street tires ***** to ride in the mud...) and i also ahve a couple other goodies comeing from ebay and motorsport. so i have a dj jet kit , magnum stage2 cam, and of course 11:1 87mm wiseco and thats going on a quad that also has a k&n and a white borthers r4 slip on and i was wondering what kind o proformance to get out of my money on this one? and maybe a starting point for jatting this sucker. o and some clean up porting done by my dad/personal mechanic/sponser.

All you got to do is open the image up in paint, click on stretch and skew. Then just reduce the horizontal and vertical measurements to about 50% or so. Then just save it

If your old piston/cam were stock than you'll feel the difference right away. I'd guess you added 5 hp max.
If your not sure on jetting it's always good to error on the side of rich. A 42 pilot is probably correct. I might start with a K170 or even a K175 for the main. Like I said, start rich and work your way down.
Air box mods, temp, and elevation will all make a difference in your jetting.

check the jetting listed in my sig. that's with the 450 carb, but with the stock carb I was at 2.5 turns out on fuel screw, 170 dynojet main, and 42 pilot, 3rd notch down on the needle with the choke removed.

thanks for the info on jetting i was running 165 main and it ran good but when i jumped on the trottle like u know a drag from a dead stop it would stumbleunless i let off i dont know what to do so i droped a main to a 160 and moved the needle and i tryed it this morning and i seemed real lean and stalled and now it wont start so i went back to a 165... and it still dong run...
