Anyone try a Uni air filter on a 2006 450r? The filter kept wanting to back off the ring (couldnt tighten the clamp up). Any advice would be helpful.

I just put a uni on mine and havent had any problems.This is kind of a bumd ? but,are ya sure its on all the way befor your tighten it down? I know I really had to push to get mine on. But once I got it on it tighten right up no probs.

I have one and haven't had any problems. Do you have the cage on the inside of it? That's what keeps it from giving. Make sure it's in there when you clamp down...

I have had that problem with filters for years... if I have oil on the ring it will pull it self off when tightening.
