idle adjustment knob?

After I got finished riding today, I went to adjust my idle and the knob is gone?!? I don't know when I lost it, but what do I do? I havn't had time to do anything yet, but what should I do. Isn't there a cable that it moved to adjust the idle? From where the knob is supposed to be, I can't see a cable. Thanks for the help.

wow. thats really strange. i have probs with mine getting stuck and yours falls off. is your idle ok or is it realy low? see if any of it is left under the black plastic on the carb (should be one gold screw holding it on and it looks like a screw pushing on the throttle link). at any rate your local honda dealer should have big parts books that that have every peace of the quad diagramed out so you can order a new one, shouldent be more than $4. make sure when your ording a new one you get the stay that goes wih it.
