It can't be done. deathman53 aka chris measured 250r a-arms and and a 250ex, and the mounts turn out to be .75" and 1" too narrow respectively.

Theres been alot of threads on this but most people have made assumptions about it, no factual data involved.

ok i took stock 250r a arms which are the same thing as 400ex a arms and put them on my 300ex, they just fitted right on.
