Is it worth it to put a CRF250R motor in a 300ex frame? Any difference over the current 250ex? I am thinking about making this a project, but i need my facts straight first.

you would see a huge difference over a 250EX. Head over heals diff. But I wouldnt put it into a 300EX frame, either drop it into a 400EX frame, or a 450R frame and make it look like this........

well if u fit on a 300ex frame it might be ideal but a 400ex or 450r frame would be nice.

Don't bother. Honda is giving the 300ex the axe this year and will be producing a CRF 250R powered race ready bike, due out late this year.
