I always just used what the book said to use in my quad( the person I bought it from never said anything different to use, and I never thought to ask him) which is 10w40. I see alot of people on here run 20w50, is 10w40 ok to run in my quad? Or should I be running something else?

I usually run 10w-40 in mine, unless I'm heading to the dunes, then it's 20w-50.

20w-50 year round for me. I rarely ride in temps under 55 degrees. Hell, it rarely gets under 55 degrees where I live (seems that way at least!).
