I have a 1996 30eex with a cobra pipe, k&n air and jet, 93 octane gas, 14/38 with 20 inch tires. Could i beat a 98 blaster with fmf pipes and a uni filter? Thanks alot

Sorry had a blaster with FMF and filter.You would not beat it!

it all depends on rider skill. if the riders were equal the blasta would squeak out ahead because fmf makes good 2-stroke pipes but cobras arent the best

Agree.. pretty even, but the pipe choices are going to lean the favor over to the Blaster.

However, that being said.. substrate (hardpack or sand) rider response, and shift timing will determine which quad is in the lead after 100m.

every thing on my 300 is aftermarket except the engine and it is faster than a 400ex with the same mods,
secret is very high gearing mine dose 70mph in sand.

but it feels slow compared to a 450

alright thanks, I know cobra pipes suck i going to get a new one but i dont have the money yet.
