I hear that!!!! Can you put a early order in? will I need to add a battery to my atv or is it self contained?

http://www.trailtech.net/images/computer/vapor/vapor_tachometer_w544_277k.gif

It is in stock and shipping. If you have an order in, your unit should be on its way.

The unit will run on ANY bike. It will draw power from ANY source. IT has no polarity requiremnts and can accept voltages as high as 400 VAC. It will only draw few milliamps.

The unit also has an internal battery backup to keep the clock running.

i called them and the guy on the phone told me 100$

How does it mount? Do you need a trail tech bar clamp mount?

Posted by: speedyquad

where can i order one of these stateside?
i have contacted a few trail tech dealers about them and have not gotten any response

thanks

Posted by: trailtech

Not many of our dealers have them yet. We are working on this issue. Call your dealer and tell them to get one on order for you.

If your dealer cannot help, call us direct, we will get you one.

Posted by: compedge

I will be calling tommorow to set up a dealer account. I have had a few calles , so i would like to keep them in stock.

Hey Trailtech,

I don't know if it is possible because of the metal around it, but how come these units don't have compasses? My GOD, I would have bought one by now, maybe even two. All the other features are nice but I still carry around my good old boy scout compass. If the unit could show in real time, easily readable, the compass would be a big plus for us desert riders.

Posted by: trailtech

Compass will be in another unit.

Posted by: hondaboy400ex55

how hard are they to hook up?

Posted by: trailtech

On a TRX, it can be installed in 1/2 hour. If your slow, it will take and hour. Everything is simple to install with photographic instructions and free tech supprt.

Posted by: hornetgod13

I would really like to see some photos of the Vapor installed and hear some customer feedback on installation. I'm on the fence on whether to buy an Endurance or Vapor.

Posted by: HRC_rider

I ordered mine direct from TT on Monday and it arrived today. Unfortunately I missed the UPS guy because I wasn't expecting it so soon and I'll have to wait until Monday to get it. I'll get some pictures up next week once I get it installed.
