just wondering if the aftermarket pipes help as much as some companys claim like the dmc 15 hoursepower im not sure about those numbers

Yes a full pipe - with the correct air to fuel ratio -- Filter -- proper jetting on a carb -- or the Cherry bomb or PIM for the ltr --
Well get you much more horses.

The factory has to design the exhaust in accordance to the government's EPA rules - to minimize pollution,etc. This is why it comes so "corked up".

The aftermarket guys aren't worried about protecting the environment -- they try to squeeze as much performance as they can out of the quad.

FUEL is doing a shootout of the aftermarket pipes w/ CB mods vs. the stock w/ CB mods
