hey guys, just wondering how much the trx6 kills top end. I want it mostly for MX racing but everyone tells me that the trx5 is the best way to go. My quad is bored .100 over, MX port job, '89 rod, rad valve and spacer, ignition/wire, 38 A.S, K&N filter, and lightened flywheel. Thanks for the replies

they r right. get the 5. the 6 does not make enuf extra low end to make up for what it kills in the highend.

TRX5 is the only pipe to run! Makes more power across a wider rpm range than any other in-frame pipe.

alright, cuz i was gonna bid on a trx6 pipe on ebay..but i guess ill hold off on it now, thanks guys

I had a TRX6 on my pld R...and it didn't run on the top end....I wish I had both to try and be able to say the 5 was alot better...but I rode all XC....and the 6 was a monster in the woods

I run a trx6 pipe for mx- I dont seem to have any problems with it. I have never ran a trx5 but I like mine so far.

Basically same mods too- 86 engine with 89 rod- ported, polished, reeds, high compression dome....
