Where does everyone get their filters. Do you just use the suzuki ones from the dealer or does some one else make them as well?

Suzuki ones from the dealer are best, only $7 each. Don't use the aftermarket ones they say can be cleaned and reused. There's no way to ever completely clean them, and they collect tiny pieces of metal.

Just buy the paper Suzuki ones.

Yeah I def. wouldn't get the reusable ones...does anyone else make the paper ones?

The z400 and the ltr450 both use the same oil filters and I know for sure that EMGO makes them for the z400. They are about half the price of OEM Suzuki ones( about $3.00)

You wouldn't happen to have the part number for that EMGO filter would you?

Thanks.

I like EMGO Sorry i don't know the part number I looked for the box but I think I burnt it.

Wouldn't a solvent tank get an aftermarket reuseable filter clean?
I was going to get one thinking that it would be cheaper in the long run, than purchasing throw away filters. ?

I've heard that the smallest holes in the filters get jammed up and no matter what you clean them with they stay plugged.

Did some research and found that WIX makes them for the LTR. It uses the same filter as the KFX400, DRZ400 and a couple of others.
The part number is 57931 if anyone needs it

sweet. wix filters are awsome. carquest filters are wix so if you live near on you can get them there
