I just read a post from kahuna about what kind of pipe to get for best performance. It makes me wonder what my quad is set up for. When I got it , it had a paul turner pipe , boyesen rad valve, I think a 38 mm kiehen carb (how do you tell what size your carb is?), 8 inch rear wheels, and some porting has been done , but I don't know for what range. I just know that EMS has been neatly etched into the jug . Now I have bored it to .040 over added the newest reeds from boyesen for the rad valve , added a dyna fs non programable cdi box and 9 inch rear wheels that help alot for all around riding. So what power range is the paul turner pipe really made for? That will probably tell me how the cylinder is ported if the prvious owner knew what he was doing. Any tips on performance gain will be appreciated. Thanks
