Will a 400ex LSR axle fit on a 450r?

yea but you also need a 400ex axle carrier to go with it and a new locknut. i have a lsr 400ex axle and carrier but the axle locknut wont go tight enough to hold it completely still, mine has about 1/8th inch of play. I am probally going to be selling this rear end set up soon to get a rpm 450r axle

I've asked this question a million times and really didn't get any rock solid responses. So I went ahead and tried it out for myself. Not really a good idea from what I can tell. I have a RAD tapered carrier for a 400ex and it is 1/8 longer than the stock 450R carrier. I thought about milling it down the 1/8 in. but my stock 450R brake stay wouldn't fit on the 400ex carrier. I gave up and am selling everything and just going to buy a 450R axle. I know that some people made theirs work and they seem to be doing fine, but at this point its no longer worth it to me for all of the trouble.
