ok heres the deal-my 250r is building up extreme pressure in the hose that comes from the bottom of the rad to the water pump. after i start it,it only takes a minute or two to build up-the end of the hose that is going into the pump swells up to nearly twice the diameter of the other end that is coming from the rad. this just started tonight-i have a ct 330 cylinder and a pwr rad-any ideas what this could be?

check your rad cap or you have a head gasket problem.

Any good bike shop should have a rad cap pressure tester. You should be able to start it up with the cap off to check the head gasket, any bubbles means its leaking. Another cause could be the hose getting old and breaking down, this may be even more true if it's only one end doing it. I've seen cars do this and it's usually the rad hose has gone bad.
