my bike just quit in the trails it has full oil full antifreez not seized but when i try and start it it will turn over a little but then stop then the red light came on also in the trails the red light or gas light never came on thanks
mike

anyone!!! got eny ideas where to start

Posted by: MXracer16

How was the red light on? If it was on continuosly, that means you had a FI system failure, if it blinks one time a second, then it had a serious failure. Two blinks per second and you overheated it.

Posted by: knight rider

ok it blinked once what is a fi system falure

Posted by: knight rider

ok it when i press the start button it comes on for a second untill i let go of the start button

Make sure your tip over switch is still mounted on the bracket properly. It looks like a relay and has "upwards" printed on it. If it gets dislodged from the bracket, you will get a blinking FI light. The bike will not start with the tip over switch oriented wrong.

Maybe a Fuse??? Should be located on the right side of the motor

Posted by: AceLtz

fuse is on the left side, near the battery. see if its still good.

Duh I am retarted. Left Front of the motor is the fuse it is located under a little platic thing that always falls off the quads. Atleast my friends does.

I am not saying it isn't a battery, but a cannondale is different than a suzuki. I have both. The ecu on a cannondale will not run if it doesn't have voltage from the battery. Suzuki is different.

Get a New Battery, or charge the one you have. But you probably need a new battery.
