Well i got it mostly together today, still need fenders and nerfs.

Started her up for the first time, for some reason ive got oil coming out from the bottom of the clutch cover, and the little hole below the water pump is squirting out

Other than that she runs great, and handles amazing!

What you guys think so far??

I've been watching you build her up and it looks great. Good job with it. I still kinda miss my R motor. Looks awesome!!

Looks good, I like how you did up the frame and suspension before you went crazy with the motor.
what link is the frame?

Which sparks pipe is that. Also the oil coming out is probably your water pump seal.

that is gonna b NICE when its done its lookin awesome rite now

Posted by: bad01300ex

its a no link frame

the pipe is a sparks TT pipe

the oil is coming from the clutch cover, and there is coolant coming from under the water pump.

Same problem i had when i installed my quick change cover, i changed the gaskets, and mech seal, i still have it coming out, but i read that it needs to break in or somthing, no more oil though.

All though when i start my engine it revs so high it sounds like it will explode so idk wtf the deal is lmao. any ideas sorry to hijack the thread, looks great,

As for coolant, I'd say your mechanical or oil water pump seal is going out

your bottom a-arms are upside down!!!! and you need a new mech seal. And oil is coming from the bottom of your clutch cover because you didn't tighten down the clutch cover evenly around the whole cover. you can't tighten down one side completely, then go to the other side. Snug the whole cover evenly!!!!

Posted by: bad01300ex

lol, the bottom arms are correct, look at where the ball joints are, if the were flipped over that wouldnt be pretty

yea i guess i need a new mech seal sweet i get to wait another month for oem parts!

They are not upside down Anyways, that quad looks amazing...GREAT JOBB

Yeah, you quad is really shaping up nice. I also have the same problem ^^ I just let it run for about 10 or 15 seconds, and the rpms will calm down to an idle. Its really weird, and it never does it when its warm, just when the motors cold. Is yours the same?
