Starter wont quit running???

I have a 04 YFZ 450 that the starter seems to be stuck on. Temp light comes on when its idling and can hear the starter running??? anyone else had this problem, any ideas how to fix it???

i had this happen to me also but i had a cr killswitch wired up for my start button try changing the switch thats what i did

Your wires could be rubbing the frame somewhere. I saw a YFZ that did this and he moved the bundle of wires behind the left headlight to make it go away.

For a temperary fix once started unhook the battery but i would say you have a rubbed through wire that is causing it to stay on

Also i believe you can start it then pull the fuse under the seat once it is running.

my 06 did the exact thing the starter is always running every time i pull in my clutch. also my bike starts when i pull the clutch in. its pretty wierd but alot of people told me the wires are grounding to the frame or rubbing against somthing. i took it to yamaha so they can get a new starter and check the flywheel. but its proboly been through 5 years of starts since the starter engages every time i pull in the clucth. i was at the dunes when it happened so i just started it then pulled the fuse so the starter would not be able to run it works its just a pain every time you stop you have to get under the seat to start it.
