anyone have experience with the company? how good are they?
i heard they are standard with nerfs, aftermarket shocks (ohlins i think?)...anything else? i saw a new one for $4500 and i thought they were $7000 quads...

its the only 'race ready' quad you can buy other than a cannondale/ATK. comes equipped with tires, nerfs, pipe, axle, a arms, shocks. . . the whole shabang.

yup...however, if you need to get parts for them i heard theyre hard to get...im not positive though...i dont see many around

I seen one on the trails a while back, It was the 300 2-stroke. Looked very nice, and sounded sweet, also looked pretty quick when He took off. Maybe i'll pick one up some day, That's the kind of stuff I like.............. the rare stuff.

it start making trial motos, and in 2002 they made the HP Wild 300 2-stroke

this quad is a bomb!

they have too a 450 4-stroke FI since 2004, and it is very good

it´s a fabulous brand, and now they are going to present a new 450 what are going to be the most powerfull 450

emm don i dont know, they dropped the 450 this year, there is no 2006 450 hp. i have a 2003 300 gg and it rips, its faster than the 450 version by a good bit. i got one of the first models, since then they have added ducati style reverse (something like that) on the 300 the first 2 stroke ive seen with reverse. i heard for 2007 its getting re-desinged the 300 but havnt heard nothing of the 450 they may be brining it out again next year like the new 300.

..for 2007 Gas Gas it´s going to present a new rebuild of the 450, with new suspension components, plastics etc...

now in Spain there is a moto show, and it´s there the proto of the new 450:

o yea i see, looks pretty good, yea i was looking on gas gas's website and they didnt have a 2006 450 so i thought they may have droped it and i only heard about a 2007 gg 300 but now i know theres gonna be both, heard the 300 is gonna be quite a bit lighter than the yfz's,trx's ltrs

Here in Spain in the National Championship the GG450 is having a spectacular season with a french rider. The 2 stroke 300cc version has not been very sucesfull racing the unlimeted class, like its brother the 450. Also when you see the Ohlins your mouth opens because you are not used to seeng brand name aftermarket shocks on quads that come staight from factory, but the truth is that these shocks are not really that good. Not any better than the ones a Trx450 would bring. So most people that are serious with riding change them for Axis , Elka ect just as fst as they would do with a Honda Suzu or Yamha.
Actually here in spain in the limited class wich is up to 400cc for 4 stroke and up to 250 for 2 strokes, the gas gas 2 (240cc version or the 300 modified)stroke do fairly well.

its kinda the other way round over here, in the tarmac/ supermoto / tt racing the gas gas 300 defintley owns that field over most quads. in mx theres a few more 300's id say and they tend to do better. the 300 wild hp is quicker stock than the 450 wild hp.

Sorry for not specifiing! I was talking mx!! The 300 is pretty fast stock, really have never seen one race drag style with any other quad so I can´t compare.

yea i picked up that you were talking about mx when u said national, and yes if the same rider was on a 300 he probably would do just as good, both are great bikes and the 450 has ecu aswell which is good, seems all quads moving that way these days.

the 300 2 stroke i a very fast quad, but a little less than the Banshee, what is a bomb

in mx there on the Q1 category (more than 400cc in 4stroke and 250 2stroke, like Brains has said) all quads are 4stroke, and in the Q2 category (less than 400 4stroke and less than 250cc 2stroke) the most used quad is LTZ and the Gas 240 2stroke, what is a very goos quad for this category

yea. i cant wait too see the new 2007 gas gas 300, heard its gonna have lighter frame and new plastics and more powerful engine. ill have to get a go on one, and if its really good im gonna trade my gg 300 in for it.

The only thing I didn't like about the Gas Gas was the looks of the headlight. If the 07 looks anything like the prototype, it will be sic. How do you go about getting parts for them? Strictly mail order? Dealers? How's the price on parts here in the states compared to a honda or yamaha?

cant say im not in states but the parts over here is fine theres a main dealer for them.
