nah, i didnt want to bash anyone till i got bashed, so now its my turn. the atco thread which i started got to be a "lets see how bad we can piss dave off" thread. tell you the truth, atco sucks, the track does not flow one bit, its never groomed right, theres kids jumping over and on top of you, and 35 bucks is a rip off. the whole racing thing to me took the fun and the roots out of the sport. just my thoughts.
much rather go thrash mikes for a few hours, way more fun.

the first time i went toatco this year i thought it was too much too.i started riding it and it really wasn't that bad.the last time i went it was rutted pretty bad.hopefully they can keep up on it.when and wear do u guys ride?

i really don't think chats really cares about their track and or their bussiness to much.i used to go their in 2000-20002.it was ok i guess.i went back their about 3 months ago with a friend.we both went around 2 laps.stopped and looked @ each other and side this is y we stopped going here.now i've been going to atco.they are a lot better .sometimes the track get rutted,and rough,but it's 100 times better then chats.chats atv track would be good for bmx or something....i don't think i will ever be back,unless they allowing the atvers on the dirtbike track.like their is something wrong with that.

WE all went to atco last year then some get hurt, and some bikes get messed up but HAMMER ruled that track last year when it was harder. what bike do you run and do u race?

i ride a 04 450r.the end of last year i got my sus.i've been tuning it in.i don't race,but i want to try it out this summer when i get all set-up.i think atco is harder this year then last.that's my opinion.i usually go to practice night on tuesday.but i will be out for a few weeks ,because i broken my toe.this sucks.what r u riding.any mods.....

i have an 05 450r works triple rate rebuilds and dual rate on the rear. +2 a-arms. axle. beadlocks on the rear with holeshots all around and razrs Mx waiting. +1 stem and a hole bunch of goodies on the inside. As soon as my bike together im goin to start racing. i can wait. i mostly practice friday. i will start tuesdays but have to wait until school is over. i wanna start heading down to blue diamond. I heard they have some races down there.

it's about 1 hour 20 minutes to get there.when i used to go there were a lot more trails.which was cool to hang out and ride.i think now there's 3 trails that only loop around 2-3 acres.how many acres do they advertize 175 (i think).they only have 1 small little table top jump and a big burm.have u been to rausch creek.

the reason we dont hang out at chats is because its too far away and not worth the money or time just to hang out there.

those 3 photo's are from about september or october of 04. Chatts has changed quite a bit, some good some bad. Their old atttiude about the illegal riding around the area was alot less lack and most of us used to ride the track some and go down the entrance road and get on the tracks there is a pit across of 72, and pit in-between, and if you went the other way it would take you to a small track next to the old brick factory and from there you could go on most if not all of the illegal trails. I know I went on about 3/4 of them and never got hassled by anyone. Now the rules are really stuck to, no illegal riding, chest protector rule enforced and i remember as a interest to safetly part of the pit was marked off and kinda a track was flagged out and direction too. Some say the track was better than, others say it is better now, before the track was faster, now it requires more skill tot ride, it still sucks and is boring.

e-town is a different type of track than atco, atco is smal and tight, e-town you can open your bike up. But atco is open for practice, e-town is not. E-town is open this saturday to ama members because of the race sunday. The 450r in the pic isn't mine,its my friend racing, but the hybrid crf450r is mine. My 200x has changed more since pics where taken, 84r extended axle, motor work, carb, exhaust, 18" rears, works shock, 84r front end, twist throttle. I also have another 250r trike not in the pics and the 350x had frame and sock issues and it got tooken apart and put in boxes, maybe one day I will get around to putting it back together. I mainly ride my trikes, 86 200x and 86 atc310pvr. I don't ride the other bikes too much.

Im deffinetly NOT going back to chats for a long time or unless i hear better information on it. The track totall sucked there was a ditch after every landing of each jump or should i say hill and it was rut galore out there. Some kid jumped like a 20 foot table at like 3 gear quarter throttle and came down face first ambulance and all that chit was there. The place is rediculous I was on the beginner track a good portion of the day and the intemediate was decent but still sucked balls. The quad track had a huge puddle before the big table and a little girl in her go cart kept getting stuck all of the place. MAybe I should go o a board meeting or some thing because this place is going down the drains.
I'll rather save up and go to atco once every two or o weeks. Whos down

There was 2 guys who didin't like it, they made a fit about it, the office came, cops came, told him to get out of there. He returned the next day and there was a sign no atv's on dirtbike track. They tried atv's on the track last year, 3 weekends about 1 hour a day, someone got hurt and the idea was dropped. I am gonna post a petition on my truck that is about better/more often grooming of the at track and hand to the board at the next meeting, also I am thinking of a petition to have mx races on the dirtbike track. it was wierd, the intermediete track and the dirtbike track were horrible, the atv track was perfect. Now the only issue I have with them is the spinkler use. I was the only one on it thursday and they had to turn the spinklers on. They also need to adjust the grooming schedule, for friday night, saturday night, and mid-day on saturday and sunday. During the week isn't an issue with grooming as its not ridden much during the week.

they did bash themselves, but you have to admit $300 and you are set for 355 or so days of the year. I am a memeber there because they are always open. Yeah it sucks, but a place close and always open is worth it. E-town when it/was open, is open some sundays,others closed, and there is about 2 months where its not open at all. Rausch Creek is about 2 1/2 hours away, places in maryland and deleware is about 2-3 hours away. Also Atco isn't always the easiest place to get to and ride during the week.

haha you guys went out there with shovels? geez you think they would get the hint when theyve got riders building their own track out there... im sure you guys didnt pay $300 a year to shovel dirt. but its good to hear they are grooming it better now. maybe i will take a ride down there soon.

I talked them till I was blue in the face about the grooming and jumps, they didn't care. The last time I was there, the jump lips we so bad that it threw your bike at a big angle, I had to do alot of correction on landing on my atc200x. And who-ever groomed the track left a pile of dirt in the track that almost sent some riders over, I kicked it smooth with my boots. They heard my mouth about the jumps, pile of dirt in the track and how they left the spinklers on seaming forever and it left puddle of mud in some places and a super dry track in other spots.

i was there a few years ago.the atv track was doing ok.then they shut down the track took the lips off the jumps for 1 truck to drive around for 45 minutes.then they let us back on.with-in 5 minutes a atver was getting medavactes out because of no lips.all because of chats

I was there about 3 times where the track was flatened for truck races. It was cool to watch the racing trucks and 4x4 sand rails with beadlock tires.

its not worth $50 a day, but if ur local just buy the mebership( ages 0-14 $75 ages 15-18 $200 18+ $300 sumin like tht) its a cool place to ride for a little bit or hangout

I was there today, the atv track was bad and the intermediete track was alot more fun. I did 1 lap on the atv track and the rest of the time on the intermediete.

CHATSWORTH SUKS BALLS - i am not afraid to say it now, the people run the track becasue they have to. go to breeze wood, dan is out EVERY single day litterally, If theres a puddle hes on it, to rutted out hes on it he does it becasue he loves the sport and the people that comes to his track. he loves the envirement and so does the whole breezewood staff putting beside the snotty kid who pulls hay stacks for point to point. I will hit chatsworth maybe once every 2 months or so other than that it gonna be atco,englishtown and breezewood. id rather not ride for three weeks or so and save up for a weekend trip to breezewood or something. Unless they make some SERIOUS changes.

Hey, i had a great time at blue diamond today, until my axle snapped Lonestar junk, lol. Dont know if anyone say it but i went out wide in the turn and hit the step down double before the small table top, i would say its about 90-100 foot long, and i guess i had a little too much momentum and went a little far for it
Snap, smacked my head on the bars but im fine. Cant wait to get back out there again, i havent been on a quad for 3 months up until this week, feels good to be getting back into it.

dude, theres nothing close to 90 feet at blue, but i know which jump you're talking about, prolly 45 feet.

lol, in the vesry middle, there is a triple step down, you do the dtep up, then make a right hand turn, the there is a triple step down that is about 90 ft. to the end, there has only been a few bikes ever do it all the way, most people just do the double/tabletop parts of it, i helped built it this winter

To the bottom of the triple is def. 90ft. we built it that way on purpose, the smaller table tops on the track are about 45 ft each. The two middle tables are about 55ft. depending on how far you go. The middle table top, after starting and hitting the first table, then making a left, that atable top we had a second landing built there before that was over 90ft down, ask allen or any of the guys at blue diamond about us when that was there

the set of 3 tables before the finish? ha, they are very easy to over shoot. your almost better off if you clip your rears on tops of the landings.
spawn, i guess i can see how that would be 90 feet. question for ya...how far is the step up right along side the hill where everyone sits? ... to the top of the landing.
