400ex tie rod ends on a z400?

My tie rod ends are bent on my z400 and i have a set of 400ex tie rod ends setting here and was woundering if they will work on the z400 spindles and steering stem.. can anyone help me out? thanks

400ex ends are smaller (the end that goes into the spindle and steering stem) plus you will also need to use Honda tie rods. They will work, I use them on my Z. What I did was took some shim stock and basicaly made a bushing to fit into the spindle and steering stem to take up the space and used lock tite and just keep and eye on the nuts to make sure they do not come loose. Now I have no more bent or broken tie rod ends
