Help getting a Xpress 300 back in running order.

I just got an Xpress 300 that was sitting and not taken care of very well. When I got it home it had a flat missing battery and a ton of east texas red dirt on it and no air filters.
I am in the process of getting it back in riding shape.

I have so far put a new battery. filled the oil tank. Drained the gas tank. and put a new air filter in and new foam filters on it.
I started it and road it around the block so far.

What things do I need to do so that it will run safe and dependable?

change the oil and oil filter. give it a good washing and run some fuel system cleaner through it.
