i need information on how to take the motor from my 400ex apart. how to get the head off. Any pictures and charts i cant seem to find any on the net. it blew up and i plan on rebuilding it as soon as i can find some info.

Purchasing a repair manual will be your best bet. Either a Clymer or an official Honda manual will work and a worth while investment.

I've rebuilt the top end and replaced the shiftshaft using the Clymer manual and this site

that is what i did i got the motor all apart now. i found out the piston cracked around the wrist pin and jumped side ways.

Hey man, where you from in N.S, Im from halifax...You should take your motor to Fundy Motorsports and get er done over, thats what I did
