why would u want to do that 400ex is 10x the bike of the 250 beleive me i had one, but hust curious whats ur reasoning lol

My reason is
I parted out my mx 400, But still have the frame and swinger. My buddy has a 250x with a bent and cracked frame he might sell me.
I just want a bike to fart around in the woods, so i figured i do a swap. I dont care that it will be slower. I have had 250r s 3&4, 250x, and 400ex. Back in the day, the big thing to do was put 250x s into 250r frames for woods riding.

well if u could fit the motor(idk if u can or not lol) but that would be a good quad jsut to fart around on liek u want

It sounds kind of like a waste to me. I went from a 250x to the 400ex, and I used to switch between riding the two all the time. I'll admit that the 250 was fun to mess around on, but the 400 is way more fun. Plus with the work that it would take to put the motor in there, I just dont think its worth it.
