Will any of the the Elka or Works shocks made for another quad fit the 250EX (for example 300EX) ?
I am having a hard time finding a set of Elka or Works (used) made specifically for the 250EX.

don't get junk like that from ebay, go to elkas website they have them on there, then you email them with what you ( weight, type of shock blahblah) and they will give you a quote

be ready to have a pretty big dent in you wallet

imo it's not even worth it, save your money

I have looked everywhere, and watched ebay almost everyday a while ago. I don't think you are going to find a used aftermarket 250ex shock for a while.
