My friend is going to be purchacing a 2006 kodiak 450. We are looking for the best HARD PACK/WET/SLIPPERY riding tire . If you have only two options, ITP MUD LITE XTR (radial) or MAXXIS BIG HORNS (radial), for this specific trail conditions:
1. Wich one is the better for you?
2. Why?

HARD PACK: Maxxis----- good traction, thick sidewall, but heavy
WET/SLIPPERY: Mud Lites----------- great traction(in snow too) lightweight, but wear quicker than the bighorns

i would get the mudlites there would be practically no traction on anything wet with the big horns
and i even have two mudlites xt's for sale 26x12x12, brand new practically, two rides on them, still 100% tread , for 100 bux, no holes no cuts in the tread or anything.
