I just got my camcorder on Friday, and did some shooting while at Sand Mountain (Nevada) over the weekend. Today, I picked up a Firewire board and editing software and spent about four hours piecing together a very short video from the best footage.
There are two versions, a low-speed (56k) version and a high-speed (cable, DSL) version.

One thing I learned this trip is DO MORE FILMING!! I was way short on footage... nothing showing the mountain itself (just the intro shot from up top), and just bits and pieces of myself, my friend Chuck, or others screwing around.
Oh well, I hope you guys like it.

That wasn't me that was stuck, actually... I was sitting on another dune watching that dude (he was on a Banshee). He came to a stop, and anybody who has ridden in sand for more than, oh, a half hour, knows that if you stop on an uphill (even a slight one), you're stuck.
Then there are those who don't, and do what he did... try to power their way out. All they do is throw a rooster tail and dig in deeper, and if I hadn't cut that clip short, you could have seen him get off the quad and have to turn it around by hand.

One thing you want to do is try to get them to download at 30fps, frames per second. It won't be the highest quality but enables quick downloads and less mb. Never mind I was on the wrong one. You got it!!! Great first video....
