ha! thats out at my buddies dad's shop. he specializes in restoring triumphs. he has won quite a few award for it to. he is also into the side cars i dont know haha

Finally, after first hand finding out that the joke "Yama-bomb" wasn't so much a joke, more like reality, sold it off, and bought this beast. East Coast built, and absolutely amazing. MX racing and pit-track riding only. Just got it about 2 months ago, so I've been working with getting the suspension just right, and getting used to it. One thing different is I just got a Std. length LSR chrome stem today to put on, cause the Houser +2 was unbareable. Basically beings I got it so late into the season, I'm putting time on it, and hopefully be ready for next year. Already know next year with have Black Plastics, a Candy Red gusseted frame, and a White GenX hood with Red metal flake.

well i wasn't really trying to ruffle any feathers and start a debate on the subject.

I would be interested in seeing any TRX 450R based trikes before Jan 06. The only one i know of was a photoshoped picture that was done by someone after i told him of my plans back in 04 when the TRX 450R came out. It was done to give a idea of how it would look. i wish i could find the pic because other then plastic color (he used Red) it looks almost identical to what i did.

If you know of any please let us know. There are a Bunch of trike events ALL over the country. There is one held almost once a month.

I do know a guy attempted to put a YZF 400 in a Tecate frame. I say attempted because it Broke in half at it's first event and i have not seen it since.

I know and have raced with Jason, the builder of severall 450 trikes including his latest one the AF 450 a converted CRF built in 08, he also put a TRX 450R in a 350X frame built in late 06, and put a YZF 450 in a TRI Z frame built in 07.

Gordon/aka Sick450, Put a 06 TRX 450R in a 250R frame built in 08.

other then those, and a few still under construction, i don't know of any other TRX 450R based Trikes.
