Ok, i put in a 11:1 compression wiseco piston in my 300 and put it all back together and now it tinks? what the crap?

check for proper valve lash, could be the cam

300ex engines dont have hydrolic lifters so there will be a slight ticking in all 300ex

Its normal. Just make sure your valve clearence is right.

Thanks guys it rips now, its fine i just didnt wana beat on it to hard till i knew it was ok. i was riding aroung a circle track with my friend who has a 400ex full yosh pipe a filter stage 2 hot cam and a cdi and my quad kept up suprisingly well now he says he has to do a 440 so he can stay faster than me
