Anyone heard of ricochet atv skid plates? Are they any good? You can see them at 4atvtires.com

I've got one of their Bullet series swingarm skids and it's holding up great. The fit was perfect and the quality is top notch.

So would $205 be good for the full set?

Adding a few more words to say the same thing doesn't equal elaborating IMO but that's what I expected from you

We ride stricky trails and my 400ex still has the stock 20" tires (measure 19") so the swingarm takes some beating. I'm not really sure if they make differant series but the one on mine is a Bullet series and it has taken some really bad licks. Other than a few gouges in the bottom of the skid it's holding up great. The plates under the rotor and sprocket are still perfectly straight and the welds still look fine. Hope this helps.

I have one and I like it. I modified mine to cover my GT Thunder rear link. The original Ricochet skid is a slightly different material (5052 I think) then the 6061 I used for the modification. The 5052 material is WAY tougher then the 6061! Here are before and after photos.

Nice welds to the plate. I wouldn't even have known that you made that change unless you would have told me.
