ya i feel dumb for asking it but how do i tighten the chain on my honda 450 its about time for a new one but its sagging kind of bad..

If it is the same as a 400EX you loosen the 4 allen bolts on the back of the swingarm and rotate the axle carrier downward. It has slots in it on the sprocket side.

yea u gotta loseen the 4 allen bolts on the swing arm..then find either a wrentch or a screw driver or sumthin tht will fit and turn it twards ur self...make sure u mark were it was originally and also the chain has to be 30-40 mm so measure tht wen u think ur done...and make sure its in nueatral and have a couple ppl sit on it so its not to tight..

do i turn the thing right next to the rear sprocket?????

you turn the piece that has the three slots in it on the left side of the swingarm. you put the allen key THROUGH the rear sprocket into one of these shafts and pull the carrier backwards a little bit by pulling the quad backwards
