Nice 450, does the HMFs have a quiet insert or anything? My district is strict and the pipes need to be under99db.

Mean250r, your a wise guy huh!

Nofearrider,

They do have the quiet core insert. It takes it down to about 98 decibels i believe. I use it all the time cause live out here in Commie Cali where the state limit is 96. People out here complain about the slightest noise. The good thing about HMF is that the quiet core is only about 30 bucks, and it only takes about two minutes to install

Where did you happen to pick up those pro peg nerfs at...wnated to pick up a set.....just wondeing price and where you got them..thanks

Jal,

I got them from Hellbound Racing. They were 199.99 shipped. That is the cheapest i found, and i looked around a lot. If someone else found them cheaper, maybe they can help you out?? Anyone?

is your pipe the red or candy red hmf

and did the protaper/trailtech setup raise the height any

Posted by: hokes

The pipe is candy red. The trail tech clamps raised my bars, but i got the Reed bend which is the equivalent of the CR hi bend. If you go with the CR Low bend bars, they probably wont be as high. If you have long arms though, i recomend taller bars. With my bars, the cables still fit too. The brake line is a little tight but works fine.
