Bullet Speedway was host to the first round of the Extreme Dirt Track Nationals. The rain clouds moved in as racers battled during their qualifying heats. Shortly after the pro practice (that was cut down to 3 laps) the rain became to much for the Terry Reynolds to maintain for racing conditions. The track became soaked with water forcing the remainder of the qualifying heats to be run on Sunday.

Tim Farr's Rig

Tim came without his fellow MotoSport support riders, Josh Upperman and Mark Kendall, for this weekends races. I am sure they will make a strong showing this weekend at Red Budd for the MX national race.

Lone Star Racing was on hand putting Keith Little on the podium for the weekend

Mitch Reynolds was showing off his new rig provided by Extreme. Extreme is the producer of the very popular 50 pit bikes. They will be releasing a mini ATV lineup that should revolutionize pit riding for ATV riders!

A day after the scheduled Pro races, the top riders from around the nation lined up to kick off what looks to be one of the best racing seasons for the Dirt Track Nationals ever. With close epic battles from start to finish, any racer could come home with the title this year.

Harold Goodman and Shane Hitt prepare to battle it out on the track.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Cody Anderson came down with Rath Racing to race. Cody had a nasty crash filming for the next installments of the Akraix Entertainment video lineup that left him with a broken back. With the back injury only being a few weeks old, Cody hit the track in the Pro am class trying to salvage some points.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Tim Farr made sure he did not get any mud on his tires before the races.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

At the start of the Pro main Harold Goodman grabbed a early lead.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Harold was not out to a comfortable lead, Tim Farr was right on Harold's grab bar waiting for him to make a mistake.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Keith Little was making an impressive showing in third place. Early in the weekend Little experienced engine problems in practice, then to add to the bad luck he lost his seat in qualifying. All the bugs seemed to be worked out for the main as Little made his presence known in the top positions.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Daryl Rath placed 5th place in the Pro class this weekend. Almost every racer at the track had some sort of Rath Racing product on their machines. This type of product exposure to the racers has kept Daryl's company in buisness for 10 years.

This was Shane Hitt's first weekend out on TT with his new Honda. The Honda put him one place off the podium in 4th place. Hitt seems to be liking the switch to a Honda!

Be sure to watch our video interview with Shane Hitt to see what he has to say about his new Honda!!

Tim Farr worked his way past Goodman during their heated battle. Tim would then gain a small lead and would stay their to the finish. Tim has no problem putting his Honda to the front in the TT races.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Goodman and Farr congradulate each other after the race. All the racers were worn out from the extremly rough track conditions that you would not normally see on a TT track! The track left most of the racers wishing they had a MX bike with them to race!

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

This unusual racing fan loved all the racing action provided by all the racers at Bullet Speedway this weekend.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

John Perkins borrowed the injured Hunter Millers race machine to race this weekend. John came away with a second place finish in his heat race for the Vetran 30+ class.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

The little guys came out to play in the mud this weekend! Here the 50cc Stock Limited (4-6) division racers line up for the start of their race.

Candace Lee flies down one of the straights at Bullet Speedway.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Johnson and Carter had a close battle throughout their heat race in the 90cc Modified (9-15) division. Johnson came out on top with a first place finish.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Mitch Reynolds made a quick move on Keith Little in the Pro am Unlimited class for first place. Keith Little was putting pressure on Mitch until he lost his seat during the race. This gave Mitch an easy win in his heat race.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Cody Anderson rode pretty well for breaking his back two weeks prior to this race!!

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

The harse conditions of the track made for some exciting race action all weekend.

Daryl Rath dives under the option section of the track. One path takes you over the jump and one takes you underneath the jump. This was a huge factor for passing during the weekend.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Jackie Meadows heads up the "over" portion of the option lane.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Zac Willet was on hand representing for the FMF media Allstars Team.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Here racers split into two different portions of the track for the option lanes. The inside land on the right took riders under the tunnel, and the outside line to the left took them over the tunnel.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

despite the rain, some fans made it out to watch the races this weekend.

W. Scalisi puts his Rath Racing Honda on one wheel over a roller in the Production A class.

Mitch Reynolds leads the Pro am Production class

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Riders bounced though a rough corner, right into a roller which made for some interesting two wheel action.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

racers rocket off the line in the production Pro am class.

Posted by: QuadR8cer12

Thomas Brown took a hard spill in the start of the Pro am class. He came back and ran strong after the races restart.
