So do i go ahead and have the linkage mount welded up and possibly void warrenty. Or do wait for it to go and take it back to suzuki.

i would just weld it cause if u break it while jumping and u get hurt then u will be kicking ur self

I would prob. call the dealer and explain your concern, the newer ones are welded all the way around. That means they know there is a problem, they may go ahead and weld yours up for you.
I have not heard of any recall or anything where they would call everyone and tell them to bring it back for welding but with the
proof of the factory change they should patch them up for everyone.

i welded mine and repainted took maybe 2 hours instead of 3 months for the dealer warranty to get me a frame and some c tech to strip it down and screw putting it back together. other concern was VIN since its on the frame if i get a new frame goodbye vin

the fix is not to replace the frame,
it is to add four 1" welds
more like 30 min. not 3 months
