I have an 86 250R. Something is wrong with my ignition. I am getting no power to my coil , from the cdi box. I have tried a new box and it is the same. I replaced the stator and pulse coil, from ricky stator. It gets power to the box. Power comes out of the box where the ground , kill switch, and the green/white wire from pulse coil connects. Power never comes out to the coil wire. Also I have a paul turner exhaust , boisen rad valve with new fiber reeds, .40 over bore and piston , and a carb that someone told me came from a newer cr 500. What would be a way to get more power without spending to much? I have considered a ricky stator flywheel only if it makes a big difference. My air box is also cut out from the top. Any help will be appreciated.
