I wouldn't consider this a "tale" but I'll tell it anyway.

This happened about a year ago, I don't remember where, but it was when me and my dad went up to meet one of his buddy's that was retiring. Anyway, we took my uncle's 250r and where we set up camp there was a little straight away right in front of us. It was long enough for me to hit top speed before I had to slam the brakes. I was riding there for a while and then these other people came and set up camp next to us on the same little strip. It was about an two hours after we had arrived that they showed up. So I kept riding up and down that little strip and the guy comes out of his trailor and tells me, "Go ride somewere else, you getting dust in our camp." So I went and told my dad about it, lol and he went over to the guy and pretty much told him to f*** off because we were there way before them.

Just curious if anyone else has ran into people like this.

We ran into the same problem in Bismarck last weekend. We camped out in an Off Road Vehicle Area, clearly posted as such, hundreds of quads and bikes everywhere, and people started whining and threatening cuz we roda too late at night. WTF is up with that? Its an ORV area, you're supposed to ride - thats why I'm down there. I can sleep at home! Camp at KOA if you want quiet hours!

I have never had a problem with dirt bike guys!! I actaully ride with a few!!! And I have a lot of friends that ride dirt bikes over quads and I myself have given dirt bikes a try( I didnt really like them). But on a lot of sites I hear about people not liking or getting along with the dirt bike guys and I just dont understand why!!!( I am not saying you guys that have problems with them dont have reasons I just know I dont have a reason.)
