I go riding with these people...my brother(1993 CR250R), my dad (1990 CR500), Cuz Erika (2006 KLX 110), my friend kimi (2000 PW80), friend Brianna (2006 450R), friend Megan (2001 300EX), friend Johnney (2005 Z400), x boyfriend (2005 z400), friend catherine (2006 scrambler 200), lil brother (2006 predator 90), friend dustin (2006 450R), Cuzin (Polaris trailblazer 250)!!! Those r the people i ride with!

What kind of people do u ride with and what do they ride??

I voted 450r and 99% of the time Im riding is by myself. I know thats a bad thing. The other 1% of the time is either with a Banshee or a Polaris Scrambler 400

Mine (86 250r), brothers (86 250r), neighbors (85 atc250r/03 predator), friends (06 450r).

I voted for the honda 450, I don't have faith in suzuki's EFI system, I was never a big fan of yamaha in general, and the predators, unless you really start modding them just don't compare to a 250, or 450r. And they will always be heavy no matter what you do to mod them.

Friends that I ride with have a predator, 450r, banshee, sportsman 500, blaster, kodiak450. I'm just getting back into riding with the 250r, and I know there are people around that I'll be ridin with soon that have another 450r, another banshee, yfz450, arctic cat side by side, rancher350.

if i had to get a new quad it would be a banshee... theres a new special edition black one sitting on the showroom here... may be a yammie but its still 2-stroke atleast.

'06 Yamaha 450

In my group there a still a few pumped up 400EX's but the rest are Yamaha.We all used to ride red.Usually about 6-8 of us.

I would say a 450R....I went from a completely aftermarket 250R to a bone stock 06 450R...and I hated it.....the more I ride it though the more I like it......there is Honda in my Blood and I feel they are the best no matter what model you ride

I doubt I would give up my R any time soon for a 450 though.. Something about 250r's are just so incredible.

My 87 is the best ride so far I have. Waiting to put the axle, arms and the new shocks on the 450er... Then I will see...

I have a 250r with a Duncvan racing cylinder on it and quite a few other things done to it and i ride with a 05' 450r with a stage 2 hot cam and pipe and filter, z400, raptor, warrior, 400ex's ds 650, bruin yfz 450 and kfx 400. Also ride with a few dirtbikes. i am faster than all 125cc dirtbikes and all the quads. The 250 dirtbikes are fast though.

I voted for a YFZ. I have not yet ridden an 06 YFZ (just owned an 04 and ridden plenty of other 04/05s), but I have ridden an 06 450R and 06 LTR. I personally still like the feel of the YFZ. It feels much more stable than the 450R and less wheelie prone. BUT, on the argument of that, I love the light front end on my 250R, and pulling the front end in 5th gear is a LOT of fun. If I were going to take a drive to Lake Hill Motors to buy a new 06 YFZ or 450R, I would be torn but probably end up leaving with a $5999 OTD YFZ.

You guys are right about 250cc 2 stroke bikes....they are scary fast. Back in the day, the 500 was the only bike that was insanely fast, but my 05 RM250 is sick fast.....probably nearly even in 100 yards against any KX500 (I know...I used to own an 89). When you have full traction on the RM, you have to make every possible effort to keep weight over the front tire or it will loop out on you in the first three gears!
