i had my quad running great with the 11.5:1 440 piston 450r carb, 50 pilot, 192 main, stock headers and a slip-on exhaust with lid off and K&N with lid off and wb cdi ignition.

i lost the head gasket from weak studs

replaced them with heavy duty studs

put 12.5:1 piston and put on full wb R4 exhaust with valve job done

it is now running too lean and i seem to have little or nothing at high rpms

my guess is to adust air fuel mixture for new changes

any one else run a similar setup and can coment?

ned to go up a few sizes on the main. try like a 200 or 210 main and see how it does there.
