i have a 440ex with kn filter,alumnium air box, stage 2 cam,portwork on head ,stock carb with 180 main 42 pilot,hmf pipe
pilot screw 2.5 turns out.
my problem is when landing from a large jump in third gear and you try to get in throttle on landing it sputters at part throtle
runs very strong everywhere else,any ideas?

I'd check the float level.

mine dose the same thing. the reason mine dose it is because i need a new top end rebuild. how long has it been since u put the 440 on it?

top end is fresh ,this year less than 10 hours on it.i am leaning toward pilot because adjusted it out for second moto and it got
worse,did not have time to try it in. i will try that this weekend.
