Posted by: eldoexrider01

now that people know they have em what r they for????????

Posted by: wyndzer

Whatever you do don't hook them together, it will add 10hp to your bike and you won't be able to control it.

Posted by: eldoexrider01

yeah man i wish it did. but 4 real does anyone know why they are there???????

Posted by: JabberJaw

They were for future use ...... to install an air conditioner.

Posted by: Rollin20s

HAHAHA, Jabber does it come with heating too???

Posted by: flaneledholes

Hey jabber I know a cheap a/c... Hit 65 and keep it there.. But an a/c would be nice for just putting around...

Well, You are the choosen one! You got the 400ex with two wires that we have no clue about!

Posted by: phatswinn

i told you what they are for, but no one wants to believe me

Posted by: honda250

1 wire is for air conditing the other is for a stero the if u split the wire for the air u can hook it up as a bottle wire for nitrous. and and air condiotiong works great surprisingly

Posted by: user101

seriously they ar there so u can hook ur quad up to ur computer and play video games

Posted by: wyndzer

O.K. quit screwing around! I'll tell you, that is the on board battery charger.

Posted by: HoNdAdude48

see what u do is plug both of these wires in an electrical outlet then u watch as ur quad magicly transforms into a hover craft!

Posted by: HoNdAdude48

dude why dont u beleive me? as of right now i have the first hoverable 300ex! u should try it!

Posted by: HoNdAdude48

dude, its commonsense that its an extra tail light wire! maybe they accedentally put an extra 1 on ur quad!

Posted by: phatswinn

its all the penguins falt, they put it on there to agrivate you

Posted by: exTAZe400

I believe they are an extra set of power wires.
I found them also and used them to power my brake lights. If I had to guess I would guess that is what they are actually intended for.

Posted by: eldoexrider01

thank you exTAZe400 im glad i got a loical answer now i know that they are power wires ill use em to hook up extra lights.

Posted by: Pro400EXC

Dude, they are for a Brake Light, seriously. Did you buy yours used I guess?

Posted by: Woodsrider

they are for a lighted whip. Who needs a brake light. You know when your stopping, right?

Posted by: exTAZe400

Yes I know when I am stopping but someone behind me doesn't. I guess you are always in the back of the pack and really don't have to worry about it huh???

But the lighted whip comment does have some merit.

Posted by: roostfrom250ex

with how fast a quad stops, a brake lite is worthless.
now a tail lite is something different.

What?? your logic escapes me.
Unless your quad stops faster than anyone elses and you can respond before the front rider begins stopping.

Tell you what lets go 30 mph w/ no brake lights and you have to ride 2 feet from my rear end. I hit my brakes and see if you can not hit me. I'll even leave my tail light on for ya.

Posted by: roostfrom250ex

i don't know how you do it, but when we ride trails, i mean ride fast and competitively, there is usually about 2-3 quad lengths between us, sometimes less. now, with that amount of reaction time, do you think the brake light is what you use to control your quad, or do you use the quad in front of you and the obstacles in front of him to determine what to do?

if you slow down every time you see a brake lite go on, like a lot of people do when they drive on the road, then you would surely get passed by everyone i ride with and then you wouldn't need a brake lite or a tail light.

Posted by: eldoexrider01

i bought my 4wheeler new. it even come wit blue eletrical tape from the factory since its the same color as the tail light wires i fig it had to be some kinda lite.
